• Planning product realization, including part infrastructure and work environment
• Generate and submit manufacturing quotes for new and existing product
• Communicate with Purchasing concerning material needs
• Part quality objectives (yields and process capability)
• Customer approval of concession on nonconforming product
• Manufacturing fixture requirements
• Disposition of non-conforming product
• Communicate with vendors concerning nonconforming product
• Control customer owned material and product
• Manage / coordinate Prototype Department activities (as appropriate)
• Participate in Design and Development activities
• Participate in ECR/ECN activities
• Manage Part Controls
Use and familiarity with ESPRIT and Solidworks software
• Review prints and customer specifications against available production capabilities
• Prepares CNC Programs to manufacture product to meet requirements
• Approve customer and internal production prints for manufacturing
• Purchase necessary tooling and equipment for production
• Machine set-up requirements
• Disposition of non-conforming product
• Participate in Design and Development activities
• Participate in ECR/ECN activities
Use and familiarity with ESPRIT and Solidworks software
• Machine set-up
• Set-up and use of department specific equipment
• Run production processes
• Part identification and traceability
• Monitor and measure production parts
• Product identification, handling, packaging, storage, and protection
• Comprehend the Quality policy and be able to convey it into his or her words
• Understand and comply with production controls and all forms pertaining to the manufacturing of products (example: Travelers, lot tags, etc.)
• Identification of nonconforming product
• Communication with Lead Operators as well as Engineering, Programming and Quality relating to production issues
• Perform daily Preventative Maintenance activities
• Know and understand customer, print, and criteria requirements for production
• Perform inspection activities (1st piece, in-process, assembly, receiving and final)
• Communication with Lead Operators as well as Engineering, Programming and Quality Manager relating to production issues
• Approve customer and internal production prints for manufacturing
• Inspection Planning (criteria)
• Approval of changes to processes, prints, criteria
• Disposition of nonconforming product
• Participate in Design and
Development activities
• Participate in ECR/ECN activities
• Participate in Validation activities
• Assist in training activities
• Shipping / receiving / assembly
• Clean / passivation
• Laser etch operators
• Manage raw material inventories
• Manage “off the shelf” hardware inventories
• Communicate with Purchasing regarding material needs and issues
• Run cut-off saw and distribute raw material to work centers
• Manage product inventory room activities
• Communicate with scheduling and engineering regarding on-hand inventory
• Receive and distribute product to required work stations
